ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Account & Subscriptions

Check your account and configuration source first, then move on to device transfers and subscription updates. Treat your subscription link like a password and keep it secure.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create a VPNWear account with a username and password. Choose a username you can easily recognize and store your password securely. Don’t reuse a password from another website. Before signing out or switching devices, make sure your credentials are saved in a trusted password manager. If you can’t log in, check your username spelling, input method and password for extra spaces, then use the help option in the user panel.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it?

Sign in to the user panel and find your subscription details in the account overview. Then add the subscription using the import method provided by your client. If it’s already configured, locate the subscription in the client, update it and check the result. Don’t add the same configuration repeatedly, or you may select the wrong rules. If the subscription details in the panel have changed, copy the current link, replace the old one and refresh the route list. Your subscription link is an account credential: don’t share it in public chats, online conversion tools or public screenshots.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices?

VPNWear has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing devices doesn’t require a new plan. Sign in to your existing account on the new device, get the client and subscription details for that platform from the user panel, then import the configuration and test the connection. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. When you stop using an old device, remove any saved subscriptions and account credentials. Before giving the device to someone else, clear the client configuration so they can’t continue using your account resources.

When does monthly subscription data reset, and what happens when I upgrade?

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the date you activated the plan, not on the first day of the calendar month. Check the plan and usage details in the user panel for your remaining data. The client’s local usage counter may cover only the current device or session, so it shouldn’t replace the account-wide total. If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days. Check the changes shown in the panel before proceeding. If the client still shows old details after an upgrade, refresh the account overview and then update the subscription to avoid submitting the order again.

What should I do if I think my subscription link has been exposed?

Stop sharing the link and remove the full address from any public posts or screenshots. Sign in to the user panel and check whether you can reset the subscription or update your credentials. If so, follow the prompts, then replace the old subscription on your own devices. If you can’t find the relevant option or notice unexplained data usage, open a support ticket with details about where and how you found the exposure and ask for help investigating. Don’t include the full subscription link, password or sensitive payment details in the ticket; share only what’s needed to identify the issue.

CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS

Connections & Troubleshooting

Start with your internet connection, then check your account, client and app in turn. Change one relevant setting at a time and keep the error message.

What should I check if I can’t connect at all?

Pause the client and check that your current network can open websites you normally use locally. If your basic internet connection isn’t working, resolve that first. Next, check your plan status and remaining data in the panel, then update the subscription in the client and make sure your chosen route is still listed. Confirm that the required network permissions are enabled, and quit any other proxy tools that may be taking control of your network. Once you’ve checked these items, try another route. If it still doesn’t work, save the error message and a record of what you tried, then submit a support ticket.

The client says it’s connected, so why won’t websites load?

A connected status only means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that browser traffic is using the route you expect. First, check whether your browser has a separate proxy extension. Then make sure the client configuration and system proxy or network takeover settings match the mode you selected. Try different websites to see whether the problem affects one site or all browsing. If only some domains fail, check your routing rules and DNS settings. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what fixed the issue.

Why isn’t an app using an international route?

Check that the app is assigned to an international route by the current rules, rather than set to connect directly. Some apps use other domains or background processes, so adding only the main website’s domain may not cover all requests. Check the client’s connection log to see which rule and destination were actually matched. After changing a rule, fully quit and reopen the app so existing connections don’t keep using the old route. If the client offers per-app routing, make sure the app is selected. Change only the relevant rules; there’s no need to route all local traffic internationally.

Should I delete and reinstall the client if a subscription update fails?

Reinstalling shouldn’t be your first step. Check that your current network can reach the user panel, then confirm the subscription address belongs to your current account and was copied without missing characters or extra spaces. If the old address has been replaced, edit it in the existing subscription entry instead of repeatedly clicking Update. Check whether the error is a network connection failure, an invalid address or a configuration parsing issue, and keep the original error message. Before importing again, save any custom rules you need so you don’t have to rebuild them if the configuration is deleted.

How do I troubleshoot disconnections when a mobile device is in the background?

First, note whether the disconnection happens after the screen locks, the network changes or the system enters power-saving mode. Then check the system’s background activity and network permissions for the client. Some devices restrict background activity; available settings depend on your system. When you return to the app, check that the client is still running, reconnect and test. If the issue occurs only when the network changes, record the network type before and after the switch. When submitting a ticket, include your platform, system details and the action that triggered the issue to help distinguish background restrictions from route problems.

ROUTES / PERFORMANCE

Speed & Routes

Your target region, route type and local network all affect performance. Reference figures can’t replace testing the apps you actually use.

How should I interpret coverage and route types?

VPNWear covers 120+ countries / 190+ routes. When choosing a route, start with the region required by the service you want to access, then check the route type shown in your client. IEPL, relay and direct routes describe different network paths; the name alone can’t predict how a route will perform on every network. Routes in the same region may also perform differently depending on your local carrier and destination. Use the routes page to compare regions and types, then assess the connection on your current network and in the app you plan to use.

How can I compare routes when video buffers during peak hours?

Pause background downloads, cloud syncing and other tasks that continuously use bandwidth. Then compare routes using the same device, network and content. Start by switching route types within the target region and see whether buffering continues. If you change regions, also consider the platform’s content library and account-region requirements. Change only one relevant variable at a time, and note when and where the buffering occurs. If direct access on your local network is also noticeably slow, troubleshoot that connection first rather than attributing everything to international routes.

Why are downloads or streams still slow when latency looks low?

Latency measures round-trip request time; it doesn’t directly indicate download throughput or video playback quality. Sustained transfers are also affected by your local network, congestion on cross-border links, the destination server and the app’s caching strategy. Test with the service you actually want to use rather than relying only on the reference figures in the route list. If websites load normally but downloads are slow, check the download source and background tasks. If video keeps buffering, compare other routes in the same region and check whether the issue affects only that platform.

Can I use the same route for AI tools and streaming?

You can configure separate routes for different use cases or share a route if testing shows it works. However, sharing a route doesn’t guarantee ongoing access to every platform. AI tools and streaming services may assess your region, exit address and account environment differently. A more reliable approach is to set explicit rules for the relevant apps and test sign-in, content loading and playback separately. If a platform reports a region issue, check which exit route it’s actually using. Don’t repeatedly change account details or clear all configurations in place of troubleshooting the route.

What troubleshooting details should I include in a support ticket?

Include your platform, system details, client name, current network type, selected region and route type, and the app or domain that failed. Add when the issue occurred, the exact error message and what you’ve already tried. If you can reproduce it consistently, describe the steps in the order you took them. Before sharing screenshots, hide personal information that isn’t needed for troubleshooting, as well as your full subscription link and sensitive payment details. Submit the ticket through the user panel and keep the details for the same issue together; this is more helpful than sending repeated, brief messages without context.

BILLING / REFUNDS

Billing & Refunds

First, distinguish monthly plans from data packs, then check your order. Submit refund requests and order queries through the user panel.

What monthly plans and data allowances are available?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets each month on your activation date. Choose an allowance based on how you use video, transfer files and browse the web; an allowance doesn’t translate to a fixed number of hours. If you use the same account across devices, check the total account usage in the panel. See the plans page for full details, and confirm the selected plan, price and order details in the user panel before paying.

Do data packs expire, and how are they different from monthly plans?

Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Monthly plans, by contrast, reset data each month on the activation date. They suit different usage patterns, so decide whether you want a monthly allowance or data to keep and use as needed. Data packs aren’t issued again every month, and monthly reset rules don’t apply to them. If you already have a plan and want to switch, check the order and activation details shown in the panel first.

Which payment methods are supported, and what if my payment doesn’t appear?

We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Before paying, check the order amount and selected plan, then follow the instructions on the order page. If the payment page shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, return to your order history to check the status and refresh the account overview. Don’t pay again just because the update is delayed. If there’s still a discrepancy, open a support ticket with the order and payment status details. Hide sensitive information that isn’t needed from screenshots, and don’t send payment details through any channel other than the one provided in the panel.

What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?

VPNWear offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and open a support ticket with the relevant order and payment details needed to verify it. Eligibility is subject to the refund terms in the Terms of Service. You can also describe any connection issues, but you don’t need to keep reinstalling the client or switching routes instead of requesting a refund. Keep the ticket thread for follow-up and provide any necessary details requested through the panel. Don’t post full payment credentials or your account password in public comments.

How can I check whether a plan suits my devices and needs before paying?

First, make sure your device is supported: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Then follow the getting-started guide for help downloading a client, importing a subscription and setting up app routing. VPNWear has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, but that doesn’t mean data is unlimited; check the allowance for your chosen plan. For specific AI tools or streaming services, read the relevant guide and check access yourself rather than treating regional coverage as a promise of continued availability on a particular platform. If you have billing questions, read the plans page and Terms of Service first.
